Does DSVP support only Dallas nonprofits?
DSVP has a North Texas charter an we are expanding our reach beyond Dallas. However, because of the nature of “engaged philanthropy” the investees we support must be within an area that can be supported by our partnership. In 2007, DSVP selected our first agency in Collin County. We have partners in North Dallas and Collin County and it made sense to support an agency North of Dallas. We expect that as our partnership grows, so will the geographic territory of our investments.
